8-WEEK WEIGHT LOSS CLASS
The 8-week weight loss class will help you make good nutritional choices and create new habits for long-term success.
Participants will create their own “Ideal Diet” tailored to their own food preferences, ensuring that their meal plans are effective for weight loss and enjoyable and effective-without giving up some of their favorite treats!
We discuss why we eat: for life, for nutrition, for socialization, and often out of habit and stress. By re-framing what foods we eat and when, individuals develop a healthier relationship with eating, making them more aware of the positive impact of their choices on their overall well-being.
A key part of the program is addressing self-sabotage. This often is in our thoughts and behaviors that can de-rail all the positive progress toward weight loss and better health. The class provides tools and techniques to curb negative self-talk, identifying and dealing with “triggers” that set off emotional eating, and building a supportive mindset.
Finally, and most importantly participants explore the deeper “why” they have started a weight loss and health journey. Without the “why,” all the tools and “how-tos” in the world are useless. Participants re-write their “story:” where they have been, where they are now, and where they want to be as they journey toward a transformation in health and wellness.
